At elementary and pre-intermediate level, it is quite frequent to find tables in books containing pictures and their names. Usually, they present thematically-related vocabulary, like sports, fruit and so on. In books, students see the picture and the word simultaneously. However, using PowerPoint we can hide the word, elicit it, and show it later on.
