This is a particularly useful slideshow when it comes to illustrating a semantic field. All we need is a picture with many elements belonging to this semantic field. There, we can highlight the elements, elicit them from learners and show them both in written and aural (audio) form.

- Illustrate a semantic field.
- Revise or pre-teach vocabulary.
- Avoid using L1 or translation.
- Elicit and teach. Books show vocabulary, we can keep it hidden until we decide to show it.
